Senior Java Developer for a British Retail Company 40 hrs/week, 12+ months
Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.
The client is the United Kingdom's largest multichannel retailer of trade tools, accessories and hardware products.
Responsibilities
- Implement new API features for Next Gen consumer
- Fix bugs for existing functionality
- Write documentation to describe complicated API logic
- Analyze stories criteria and propose improvements
- Participate in code review process
- Participate in story estimations
- Investigate spikes and implement PoCs
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Java Developer
- Strong experience with Java 8
- Knowledge of Junit, Mockito
- Experience with REST APIs (JAX-RS)
- Knowledge of Swagger, Git/Gitlab, Jenkins
- Understanding of Oracle commerce and Oracle Database
- B2+ level of English
Nice to have
- Experience with JSON API
- Knowledge of Gradle, Docker, Dozer, Buildr
