Senior Java Developer (Hibernate)
We are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer with expertise in Hibernate to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing, analyzing, and implementing software changes. You will be responsible for contributing to the security, scalability, and performance of our systems. As a Senior Engineer, you will need to collaborate with other Software Engineers and Analysts to establish requirements and develop solutions. Additionally, you will document bugs, fixes, and enhancements in relevant tracking systems.
responsibilities
- Perform product design, system analysis, and implement necessary software changes and enhancements
- Contribute to the security, scalability, and performance of our systems
- Collaborate with the team’s Software Engineers and Analysts to establish requirements and develop solutions
- Assist Analysts in researching reported issues, verifying bugs, and testing changes for the release
- Work both independently, and as part of a development team, on various projects of varying sizes and scopes concurrently
requirements
- 6+ years of experience in delivering high-quality software using Java as the primary programming language
- Strong experience in Java, Hibernate, microservices, Spring Boot, and SQL
- Knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Azure Pipelines, ADO, DB2, Gradle, Jenkins, and Kibana
- Ability to assess and communicate benefits and risks to stakeholders
- Upper-Intermediate level English
nice to have
- Experience with AngularJS
- Knowledge of Web Application Security improvement
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues
