Senior Java Engineer for Automotive Information Provider

We are currently looking for a remote Senior Java Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team.

Our customer is one of the most popular American online resources for automotive information. The customer’s website includes prices for new and used vehicles, a database of national and regional incentives and rebates, dealer and inventory listings, vehicle test drive reviews, and tips and advice on all aspects of car purchases and ownership. In addition, the company circulates free e-mail newsletters to voluntary subscribers.

responsibilities
  • Writing a high-quality code
    • Working together with other team members on achieving common goal
      • Performing code review of other team members
        • Providing estimates for tasks
          • Meeting deadlines
            requirements
            • 4+ years of Java development experience
              • Good knowledge of Spring framework (especially Core and MVC)
                • Knowledge of PostgreSQL
                  • English level B2+
                    nice to have
                    • Familiarity with NoSQL solutions (MongoDB or Apache Solr)
                      • Experience with REST paradigm
                        • Experience with Jersey
                          • Knowledge of Batis, Hibernate
                            • Knowledge of Maven, Gradle
