Senior Java Software Developer for a Broadband Company

We are currently looking for a remote Senior Java Software Developer with 9+ years of experience working with Java8+ to join our team.

The customer is one of the world’s leading broadband, communication and converged video companies, with operations in six European countries.

responsibilities
  • Developing Microservices
    • Participating in planning and managing  the development process
      • Actively communicating with the stakeholders
        • Contributing to continuous delivery and integration pipeline infrastructure
          • Implementing technical decisions with little supervision
            • Writing Unit and some Integration Tests
              requirements
              • 9+ years of Java8 experience
                • Experience with Java DI & IoC frameworks: Dropwizard, Spring or others
                  • Experience with SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management (Git), Agile development, build processes, testing and operations
                    • Understanding of Microservice architectures, RESTful API design
                      • Knowledge of Docker containers and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes or Amazon EKS
                        • Knowledge in Cloud technologies (AWS)
                          • Good communication and problem-solving skills
                            • English level B2+

                                • Experience with legacy system integration and phased application integration
