Senior Java Software Engineer for a Global Information Services Company
We are currently looking for a remote Senior Software Engineer with 3+ years of Java 8-11 experience, design patterns experience, and knowledge of Maven, Spring framework to join our team.
The customer is a global provider of professional information, software solutions, and services for clinicians, accountants, lawyers, and tax, finance, audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory sectors.
The overall distributed team works on a cloud-based platform that provides ETL and authoring capabilities based on Alfresco CMS and services.
responsibilities
- Tasks / unit tests implementation / design / estimation
- Active participation in daily meetings with customers, design and status calls
- Taking part in code review processes
requirements
- 3+ years of Java 8-11 experience
- Design patterns experience
- Knowledge of Maven, Spring framework (at least for DI / IoC)
- Experience with XML / XSLT / XPATH
- Knowledge of SQL
- Testing frameworks: jUnit / Mockito + Sonar as a quality gate
- Linux / Docker (basic level) experience
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
nice to have
- Experience in content management domain
- Knowledge of AWS (basic level)
- CI / CD tools understanding
