We are currently looking for a remote Senior .NET Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience developing web applications, architecting and developing Microservices to join our team.

The customer is the world's leading oilfield services company providing cutting-edge solutions for reservoir characterization, drilling, production & processing.

The main pool of tasks is associated with end-to-end development and maintenance of web applications.

responsibilities
  • Write frontend and backend production code
    • Write Unit, Integration, System tests
      • Write and review technical documents, including design, development and collaborative code reviews
        • Automate build, test and deployment routines
          • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement
            • Organize monitoring of services in production environment
              • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
                requirements
                • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
                  • 3+ years of experience developing web applications
                    • Proficiency in architecting and developing Microservices
                      • Working experience with modern web development frontend technologies (HTML, CSS/Less, AngularJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, REST, Node.js/npm, Jasmine/Mocha, Protractor)
                        • Experience working with modern web development backend technologies (WebAPI2, SignalR, HTTP/REST, Service-Oriented Architecture, C#/.NET/.NET Core, Message queue (e.g RabbitMQ/AMQP), IIS, Redis, Inversion of Control/Dependency Injection, NuGet package management, Service Fabric)
                          • Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
                            • Familiarity with public clouds such as Azure (preferred), Google Cloud and AWS
                              • Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices relevant to web development
                                • Good understanding and experience with Agile project management frameworks like SCRUM
                                  • Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
                                    nice to have
                                    • MS or PhD in Computer Science
                                      • Knowledge and experience configuration management systems like Consul, Puppet or Chef
                                        • Experience and with build management systems like TeamCity, Jenkins or VSTS build
                                          • Good understanding of Git source control
                                            • Passion for engineering excellence and experience with unit testing, Agile project development, and bug and change management systems like Jira, VSTS
                                              • Ability to quickly and independently provide technical solutions to business issues
                                                • Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
                                                  • Ability to track multiple simultaneous deliverables and work under pressure
                                                    • Experience with working in an open source project (GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.) for websites, or web technologies
                                                      • Experience with presenting on workshops or conferences like NDC, DevOpsDays
