- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Node.js and AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that integrate with frontend applications
- Implement automated testing frameworks and methodologies to ensure code quality and reliability
- Optimize system performance and scalability, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
- Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, offering input and suggestions for improvements
requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Node.js development, demonstrating your expertise in building scalable and high-performance backend systems
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience with cloud-based architectures and services, including EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda
- Strong proficiency in database design and management, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis
- Experience with modern Node.js frameworks such as Meteor, NestJS, Koa, and Express
- Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with frontend applications
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies, including unit testing and integration testing
- Strong focus on performance optimization and scalability, showcasing your ability to design and develop efficient and scalable systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with serverless architectures and services, such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Server
- Knowledge of frontend development technologies such as React and Angular
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
