Senior Node.js Developer
We are looking for a highly skilled remote Senior Node.js Developer to join our team. As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will provide technology thought leadership and assist the team in making the right decisions. You will also understand functional, non-functional requirements and quality attributes and build solutions for them.
responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Node.js and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Participate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to the improvement of architecture and design
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
- Assist in effort estimation, planning, prioritization, and dependencies identification
- Assist in the review and approval of code changes made by other developers
requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Node.js development
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Angular, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for developing scalable and robust applications
- Experience with Splunk Monitoring tools and Cucumber for Web Service / API Test Automation
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Ability to build, review and ensure the quality of data models, API Contracts, Architecture, Framework, Code, etc.
- Experience in effort estimation, planning, prioritization, and dependencies identification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an upper-intermediate level
nice to have
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with other programming languages, such as Python and Java
- Experience with other cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
- Certification in Node.js development or related fields
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
