We're looking for a remote Senior System Developer with strong database administration experience: Oracle DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and good knowledge of Linux or another Unix-based OS to join our team.
The customer is a global pharmaceutical research organization that is focused on discovering innovative medicines that cure diseases and improve human health.
responsibilities
- Working with application teams on infrastructure projects, database related activities: data migration, upgrade, performance analysis and tuning
requirements
- 3+ years of strong database administration experience: Oracle DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Working experience with AWS
- Hands-on experience with Chef, Git
- Good knowledge of Linux or another Unix-based OS
- Strong shell scripting experience (Python would be nice)
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
