Using technical QA expertise and experience to generate non-functional requirements and provide guidance for your direct colleague(s) to be able to set the quality standards needed to fulfil the performance related tasks

Create and execute the performance test strategy and test plan, interfacing with all levels of the application stack. Liaise with the Architects to cover the gaps with the suitable test suites and to set up the performance related test process

Get a sense about the LastPass diversity and work with the entire team, especially with the DevOps and local Modernization team members to identify potential application and infrastructure bottlenecks and propose changes if needed

Participate in team meetings to understand the business needs and get accustomed with our newly introduced testing framework that solves our load testing challenges ahead

Set up the performance test process from scratch and directly coordinate the QA within your team to fulfill the assignments and later test execution

Collaborate with other QAs and SDETs - to ensure that our products meet the non-functional quality criteria

Develop a performance test plan for executing the previously emphasized quality aspects of the product.

Own the whole non-functional test process and determine how all these QA activities align with the SDLC

Mentor the members of your team and update the local QA team member with the performance process from the core team

Use best practices that are approved by the domain and yield us leverage in the quality field

Propose new tools or business models in case it is needed by the side of the framework

After a maturity level has been set by your expertise expand the scope of performance testing and make the needful steps to raise the bar to the next quality level

Be a proactive part of a dedicated team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to improve the load testing practices of LastPass

Identify bottlenecks and raise them to the Engineering Manager

Raise and collect the defects found during test execution

Documentation creation about the QA process itself

Weekly reporting about progress metrics highlighting achievements, issues, targets, and the product's overall performance state

Offer suggestions for improvements regarding the framework and the newly initiated load testing practices

3+years of performance testing experience

Solid understanding of performance testing practices and a passion for software quality

Hands-on experience with using a load testing framework/tool (k6 by Grafana is an advantage) by making test cases that cover the performance related aspects of the product

Value-oriented and strategic mindset around quality peppered with a focus on risks

Work experience in Agile SDLC with fast development cycles

Work experience with the Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket), TestRail, TeamCity, Jenkins

Ability to take each performance issue analysis to the point of being able to suggest a fix
