Senior Python Developer for a Retail company
Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Python Developer to join our team.
responsibilities
- Create reusable libraries to access data
- Create reusable libraries to perform testing of strategies and to facilitate systematic trading
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Python Development
- Proficient in Python, including data manipulation libraries like pandas
- Experience in building API interfaces and reusable libraries
- Experience in the testing pyramid (writing unit and integration tests)
- Experience with DevOps including familiarity with CI-CD pipelines
- Experience building data pipelines
- Familiar with data storage options and ability to choose the right storage infrastructure and model for each use case (nice to have) Experience with big data ETL/ELT techniques like Spark
- Experience building simple UIs and data visualizations
- Ability to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Good English and overall communication skills
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Experience training users and sharing best practices
