Senior Ruby Developer
We are seeking a talented Senior Ruby Developer to join our remote team and help us design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure Ruby on Rails applications. As a Senior Ruby Developer, you will work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements, and contribute to the development of new features and functionality. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our applications are built to the highest standards of quality and security, and that they meet the needs of our users.
responsibilities
- Conceptualize and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure Ruby on Rails applications that meet the needs of users and stakeholders
- Work hand-in-hand with product managers and other stakeholders to understand and prioritize requirements, and to define the scope and timeline of projects
- Be committed to working with other developers to design and implement high-quality products new features and functionality, and to review and improve existing code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Ruby on Rails development, and share knowledge with other team members
- Mentor and train junior Ruby developers, and help them to grow their skills and knowledge
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development
- Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Node.js development
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
- Solid understanding of web application security best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
