Senior SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team to work on an exciting project in the Apparel and Footwear industry. Our client, a leading global fashion brand, is undergoing a digital transformation and requires an expert in SAP ABAP to develop and implement solutions within the S/4HANA environment.

responsibilities

Create and develop robust, efficient, and scalable custom SAP solutions using ABAP programming in the S/4HANA environment
Work together with a cross-functional team to gather requirements, establish project scope, and deliver technically sound solutions
Evaluate and recommend technical solutions to meet business requirements and enhance system functionality and performance
Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices for code quality, performance, and maintainability
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior SAP developers
Conduct code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

requirements

3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development in S/4HANA with a strong focus on Sales and Distribution (SD) and Apparel and Footwear (AFS) modules
Expertise in ABAP Core technologies, including Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
Strong understanding of SAP development methodologies and best practices
Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA architecture and technical components, including Fiori and HANA XS development
Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
