Senior SAP Basis Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP Basis Engineer to join our remote team and provide expertise in SAP HANA administration, performance analysis, and tuning of SAP systems. Our client is an e-commerce company that specializes in footwear, apparel, and beauty products, and you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing their SAP systems. As a Senior SAP Basis Engineer, you will also be responsible for resolving complex technical issues and completing tasks related to SAP Basis and DevOps.
responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize SAP systems, including SAP HANA administration and performance analysis
- Resolve complex technical issues related to SAP Basis and DevOps
- Complete tasks related to SAP Basis and DevOps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of SAP systems
- Develop and implement DevOps processes and procedures for SAP systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in managing and supporting SAP systems using DevOps practices
- Deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture, installation, configuration, and monitoring
- Ability to archive and restore SAP FI-AA data efficiently and effectively
- Experience in performance analysis and tuning of SAP systems
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and its capabilities for managing and monitoring SAP systems
- Ability to perform all aspects of SAP HANA installation, configuration, and monitoring
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
nice to have
- Knowledge of GRC, ACP, SLT, BW4HANA, S4HANA, OpenText
- Expertise in Network, firewalls and how to troubleshoot
- Understanding of SAP BTP, Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics cloud
