Senior SAP Basis Engineer
We are looking for a remote Senior SAP Basis Engineer to join our team and work on an exciting project for our e-commerce client that specializes in footwear, apparel, and beauty products. As a Senior SAP Basis Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a SAP FI-AA archiving strategy, installing and configuring SAP HANA, implementing and maintaining SAP Solution Manager processes and procedures, and analyzing SAP performance data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that the SAP environment is optimized and performant.
responsibilities
- Develop and implement a SAP FI-AA archiving strategy
- Install and configure SAP HANA
- Implement and maintain SAP Solution Manager processes and procedures
- Analyze SAP performance data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that the SAP environment is optimized and performant
- Create and maintain documentation for SAP Basis and DevOps processes and procedures
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in SAP Basis and DevOps
- Ability to resolve complex technical issues and complete tasks
- Expertise in SAP HANA administration
- Ability to install, configure, and monitor SAP HANA
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and its processes and procedures
- Proficiency in SAP FI-AA archiving
- Experience in performance analysis and tuning of SAP systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
nice to have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Certification in SAP Basis or related fields
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAPUI5
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Cloud Integration
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Analytics Cloud
