We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced remote Senior SAP MDG Functional/Technical Consultant to join our team.
As a Senior SAP MDG Functional/Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects, utilizing MDG application framework and various governance API's effectively, and performing configurations and customizations in data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling. You will also work on SAP MM/SD/FI modules with a clear understanding of business processes, handle data integration between SAP MDG and ECC system, manage inbound and outbound IDocs and error management, enrich master data via workflows, and analyze failures and data issues during master creation and extension in the ECC system.

- Configure and customize MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects
- Utilize MDG application framework and various governance API's effectively
- Perform configurations and customizations in data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling
- Work on SAP MM/SD/FI modules with a clear understanding of business processes
- Handle data integration between SAP MDG and ECC system
- Manage inbound and outbound IDocs and error management
- Enrich master data via workflows and analyze failures and data issues during master creation and extension in the ECC system
- Collaborate with a team and take a proactive approach to work
- Handle escalations proficiently
- Adopt an agile approach to work in a DevOps model
requirements
- 3 years or more of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD/MM/FI processes
- Hands-on experience in incident management, change management, and data integration across systems
- Expertise in SAP MDM/MDG
- Experience in handling data integration between SAP MDG and ECC system
- Ability to manage inbound and outbound IDocs and error management
- Proficiency in XML and Data Flow Diagrams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively in client-facing roles and handle escalations proficiently
- Fluent English language skills with a minimum Upper-Intermediate level
nice to have
- Certification in SAP MDG and/or SAP MM/SD
- Experience in incident management and change management
