Solution Architect for a Consumer Goods Company 40 hrs/week, 12+ months
Currently, we are looking for a remote Solution Architect with experience with managing single/multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters and hands-on experience setting up, configuring, maintaining, and deployment automation to join our team.
The customer is an American multinational consumer goods corporation headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Develop business and functional design requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, user stories, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis
- Ability to convey technical and conceptual ideas/topics to non-technical audiences as well as technical personnel
- Work closely with the development teams and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade offs between usability and performance needs
- Develop the following documentation according to standard templates, using natural language
- Responsible for architecture and technical decisions made in the teams
- Support developers during feature implementation by explaining design details, and solving design issues
Requirements
- Experience with managing single/multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters
- Experience in building and maintaining the CD process for Kubernetes cluster and workloads deployment
- Hands-on experience with the following tools: Docker, Helm, Flux CD, Terraform, Git
- Hands-on experience setting up, configuring, maintaining, and deployment automation (where applicable) for the following: Kubernetes, GKE, AKS, EKS
Nice to have
- Experience with Cloud – Azure, GCP
- Good to have experience or to be familiar with the following tools: Anthos, Rancher
