We are currently looking for a remote Senior Big Data Software Engineer with DevOps experience to join our team.
The customer provides Direct-to-Consumer services encompassing global entertainment and news TV properties, TV stations group, and radio businesses.
Responsibilities
- Lead, design and implement innovative analytical solutions
- Analyze, organize and provide in-depth code reviews
- Provide consulting services on cloud-based technologies
- Automation practices implementation
- Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture to help drive decisions
- Contribute to the architecture and solution design
- Communicate with the customer
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Snowflake platform
- Expertise in automation practices
- SQL knowledge
- Good understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab and Liquibase) and project life-cycle principles
- Knowledge of AWS technologies
- Good communication skills (interpersonal for interacting with the team, presentation skills for working with the clients)
- Spoken and written English level should be B2 and higher
