We are currently looking for a Senior Build Engineer with DevOps expertise, experience with RDBMS systems, and Linux proficiency to join our team.

The customer is one of the world’s leading broadband, communication and converged video companies, with operations in six European countries.
The main pool of tasks is associated with database performance planning and developing, improving the reliability and scalability of the whole system.an opportunity to work remotely in multidisciplinary teams on global projects that define the future – of technology, collaboration and learning.
Responsibilities
- Design, setup & configuration of the core infrastructure that runs our online business
- Monitoring and maintaining the health of infrastructure
- Planning database upgrades by maintaining, evaluating, and improving a transaction processing model
- Assessing database performance by developing a protocol for measurement of results and identification of problem areas
- Supporting database performance by monitoring database performance; evaluating and resolving processing and programming problems; designing database management tools; answering user questions
- Securing database by preparing access and control policies and procedures, implementing disaster recovery procedures
- Developing deep knowledge of our complex production applications and their upstream & downstream dependencies
- Improving the reliability and scalability of the whole system
- Working closely with the development teams
- Exploring new latest relevant technology, techniques, frameworks, tools, methodologies and processes
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Computer Science, Science, Mathematics or equivalent or be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge
- 4+ years of experience in working with Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu or similar)
- Experience with DevOps.Containers
- Practical experience with RDBMS systems (PostgreSQL is the most beneficial)
- Experience in managing and configuration Elasticsearch clusters
- Proven experience with configuration management tools, i.e., Ansible, Puppet, etc.
- Production experience and understanding of cluster management systems like Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Mesos
- Knowledge of automated deployment/continuous Integration tools, i.e., Maven, Jenkins, Fabric8, etc.
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
