Senior JavaScript Software Engineer with Angular for an Insurance Company
We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 3+ years of JavaScript expertise and experience with Angular 6+ to join our team.
The customer is one of the world's leading providers of reinsurance and insurance based in Zurich, Switzerland.
The main pool of tasks is associated with designing and building a new digital platform for MidCap brokers
responsibilities
- New feature development
- Re-usable component creation
- Creating unit tests
- Reviewing code
- Fixing bugs
- Maintaining accurate ticket status
- Performing demos of work completed
requirements
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript (including ES5/6)
- Figma experience
- Implementing pixel-perfect designs
- DOM/BOM API experience
- Knowledge of TypeScript
- Experience with Angular 6+ (Angular 9 ideally)
- Proficiency in HTML
- Knowledge of SCSS
- Git Branching
- Code Reviews
- Experience with Material UI and Bootstrap Grid Systems
- Experience with Angular/Typescript Unit Tests with Jasmine
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
nice to have
- Azure App Services experience
- Knowledge of Node.js
- Swagger or API Management experience
- Experience with traditional scrum processes, 2 weeks sprints, retrospectives, bi-weekly sprint demos, etc.
