Senior Python Developer for a Financial Services Corporation
Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Developer with 3+ years of strong experience with Python and experience with data transformation/data migration projects to join our team.
The customer is a Singaporean multinational banking and financial services corporation operating across 18 markets.
responsibilities
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Development of Microservices and web-services for data extraction/processing
- Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
- Work collaboratively with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features
requirements
- 3+ years of strong experience with Python
- Experience with data stack in Python (Dask, Pandas, knowledge of core concepts of big data)
- Experience with data transformation/data migration projects (banking would be best fit but experience in other business domains could be considered as well)
- Monte Carlo simulation knowledge
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
