We are looking for a remote Chief DevOps Engineer to become part of our Release Management team.
The role primarily includes implementing DevOps practices and using Copado platform for Salesforce projects. The selected candidate will coordinate and manage software releases, ensure smooth deployments, and support the complete delivery process.
responsibilities
- Efficient release management process establishment for Salesforce projects via Copado DevOps platform
- Coordination and management of software releases for error-free, timely deployments
- Cooperation with cross-functional teams for requirements collection, release prioritization, and deployment issue resolution
- Release pipelines management and maintenance, including version control, branching, and code merging
- Monitoring release progress and post-release evaluations for identification of areas for improvement
- Contribution towards the development and improvement of DevOps practices and standards within the organization
- Support provision to the Support & Maintenance team for ongoing Salesforce project needs
requirements
- 7+ years of work experience with Copado as a DevOps/Release Manager in Salesforce projects
- Record of successfully leading and mentoring a team of engineers
- Deep understanding and knowledge of DevOps principles and methodologies
- Expertise with the Salesforce platform and related tools and technologies
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work within cross-functional teams
- Experience in managing and implementing release pipelines, version control, and code merging
- Understanding of release strategies and software release management processes
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time
- Fluent English language skills at a B2+ level
