We are currently looking for a remote Lead Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. This position calls for strong experience with Java and Spring, along with Angular 2+ for front-end development. In this capacity, you will be responsible for leading our talented team of engineers, working closely with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Furthermore, mentoring junior developers and contributing to the culture of continuous improvement in our development processes will also be part of your key responsibilities.
responsibilities
- Create and maintain back-end system components using Java and Spring
- Cooperate actively with the front-end team to integrate front-end components and ensure smooth functionality
- Lead the team of developers
- Develop and maintain APIs facilitating data exchange between front-end and back-end elements
- Draft technical documentation and partake in code reviews
- Ascertain the high performance and scalability of the systems
requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with Java
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Angular 2+ for front-end development (not AngularJS)
- Knowledge in Spring Boot and Microservices
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MS SQL and Oracle RDBMS
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills (B2+ level)
nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
- Proficiency in stored procedures in MSSQL or Oracle
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry
- Understanding of messaging pipelines like RabbitMQ or Kafka
