We are currently seeking a Lead SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team.
Our client is a leading provider of retail solutions, specializing in SAP Retail Technical and SAP Sales and Distribution. As a Lead SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of technical solutions that support the client's business needs. You will also be responsible for leading a team of developers, providing guidance and support to ensure that the projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.

- Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions that support the client's business needs
- Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and design technical solutions that meet those requirements
- Ensure that all technical solutions are developed in accordance with best practices and industry standards
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions are integrated with other systems and processes
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and any issues that arise
- Continuously improve development processes and procedures to ensure that they are efficient and effective
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP in S/4HANA
- Strong leadership skills, with at least 1 year of experience in leading and mentoring teams of developers
- Experience in SAP Retail Technical and SAP Sales and Distribution, with a deep understanding of how these solutions can be used to support business processes
- Experience in SAP Retail Solutions, with a focus on implementing and maintaining technical solutions in the retail industry
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Proficiency in ABAP Core, ensuring the development of high-quality solutions
- Experience in developing solutions using Clean Code principles and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Able to communicate effectively in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Able to work remotely with a global team
- Experience in SAP Sales B2C, with a deep understanding of how this solution can be used to support business processes
- Experience in SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform
