We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, working on a multi-cloud setup with GCP as the primary cloud and some workloads in AWS. Your primary focus will be on provisioning access permissions, FWs, APIs, and Quota, and processing other requests.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting cutover/migration activities, providing on-call support on request during application migration cutovers, joining cutover bridge, troubleshooting connections/permissions issues, raising, and implementing fixes. You will also be expected to attend war room calls and engage in troubleshooting activities.
responsibilities
- Provision and manage access permissions, FWs, APIs, Quota, processing other requests, GCP Label Change tickets for multi-cloud setup with GCP as the primary cloud and some workloads in AWS
- Provision resources for all new migrations/deployments in the cloud, ecosystems only provisioning (Resources in Jenkins, Vault, Git, Artifactory, birth-righted AppGate entitlements, projects/accounts in GCP, AWS clouds)
- Perform due diligence of incoming requests, clarify details, update build spreadsheet, request next level approvals, track progress, and provide 1st level approvals for standard requests
- Support cutover/migration activities, providing on-call support on request during application migration cutovers, joining cutover bridge, troubleshooting connections/permissions issues, raising, and implementing fixes
- Attend war room calls and engage in troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of the project
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related field
- Expertise in CI/CD, Google Cloud Platform, and Terraform
- Strong experience in provisioning, configuration, and management of GCP and AWS services
- Experience with multi-cloud architectures and migration of workloads between clouds
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a multi-cloud environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Strong familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Ansible, and Jenkins
