We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our remote team.
The successful candidate will work on a customer initiative aimed at modernizing a set of applications used by subject matter experts to review and editorialize content for end-user-facing applications. The apps have a microservice-based backend, with Spring Boot used as a framework. In this role, you will be involved in the migration of the frontend of the apps from AngularJS to Angular 13+.
- Contribute to the migration of the frontend of the apps from AngularJS to Angular 13+
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant applications
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement complex software solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including coding standards, testing, and documentation
- Participate in code review sessions to provide constructive feedback and ensure code quality
- At least 3 years of full-stack software development experience with expertise in Java
- Strong experience in Java Core, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Angular 13+ and AngularJS
- Understanding of microservices development principles and best practices
- Experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant applications
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in written and verbal English at an Upper-Intermediate level
- Experience in cloud-based development
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment
