We are currently seeking a remote Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a new project centered around constructing a cloud-based system for our clients. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be expected to bring robust experience with Java and Spring, along with Angular 2+ knowledge for front-end development. This role involves developing and maintaining the back-end of the system, ensuring its high performance and scalability. You will work hand-in-hand with the front-end development team to assimilate front-end components and ensure seamless functionality. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring junior developers and contributing to the continuous refinement of our development processes.
responsibilities
- Develop and ensure the maintenance of back-end system components using Java and Spring
- Collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate front-end components and guarantee seamless functionality
- Develop and maintain APIs to allow data exchange between front-end and back-end components
- Ensure the system's high performance and scalability
- Write technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the ongoing refinement of our development processes
requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, mainly focusing on Java
- Proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices
- Solid experience with Angular 2+ for front-end development (not AngularJS)
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases such as MS SQL and Oracle RDBMS
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills at a B2+ level
nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
- Proficiency with stored procedures in MSSQL or Oracle
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry
- Experience with messaging pipelines (RabbitMQ or Kafka)
