We are hiring a Senior IT Operations Automation Engineer to join our L3 Support Team in Mexico-city.
This role requires working on IT Infrastructure and Operations tools, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure Firewall and SolarWinds monitoring tools. The ideal candidate should have experience in configuring and troubleshooting a breadth of technologies such as LAN, WAN, Firewall, Server, and SD-WAN. You will be responsible for monitoring network systems, analyzing incidents, identifying performance issues proactively, and analyzing infrastructure needs during new project requirement analysis.
responsibilities
- Monitor network systems, analyze incidents, and identify performance issues proactively
- Analyze infrastructure needs during new project requirement analysis
- Support edge networks, utilizing industry best practices Cisco IOS and SD-WAN platforms
- Create and develop functional requirements of infrastructure systems to improve quality, performance, external interfaces, and constraints
- Maintain and monitor all network and server systems to meet the current and future requirements, using monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds)
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Operations Automation with a focus on Azure Firewall and SolarWinds monitoring tools
- Experience working with LAN, WAN, Firewall, Server, and SD-WAN
- Ability to analyze incidents and identify performance issues proactively
- Ability to create and develop functional requirements of infrastructure systems to improve quality, performance, external interfaces, and constraints
- Proficient in monitoring tools like SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer, SolarWinds Security Event Manager, and SolarWinds ALertCentral
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to collaborate with the L3 network teams and stakeholders
- Resides in Mexico-city, and can adhere to the 2-3 days office policy
nice to have
- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP
- Experience in other Firewall technologies like Cisco ASA or Check Point Firewall
