We are seeking a Lead Go Developer to join our remote team.
In this position, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining features that enhance developer productivity, and you will be responsible for developing REST APIs and contributing to the overall API framework. As a Lead Developer, you will take charge of Platform Engineering, implementing best practices across applications, mentoring junior team members, and working on support services operational on the cloud. You will work with a DevOps architect and members of the DevOps team to ensure best practices are implemented across applications and lead teams in the direction of initiatives such as CI/CD and enterprise monitoring.

- Creation and maintenance of features boosting developer productivity
- Development and implementation of the next-generation internal developer platform components
- Suggestion for improving system reliability, efficiency, and quality
- Collaboration with various cross-functional product teams
- Continual updating of key trends knowledge, especially in technologies and frameworks such as Kubernetes, Docker, ELK/Prometheus, etc
- Taking ownership of Platform Engineering and providing mentorship for junior team members
- Development of REST APIs and contribution to the overall API framework
- Utilization of multiple open software for Developer Platform development
requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in building API and web services using Go Language is required
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of developers, ensuring successful project outcomes
- It's necessary to have hands-on experience in microservices development and container-based software using Docker/Kubernetes and other container technologies
- Familiarity with using Cloud Services API, mainly focused on reliability and security
- Command over Amazon Web Services such as EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, and CloudFormation is necessary
- Well-acquainted with application performance tuning, memory management, and scalability
- Capability to design high-scale distributed systems with numerous open-source technologies
- Strong communication skills along with the capacity to collaborate with various cross-functional teams
- Fluency in both spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate or higher level of competency

- Experience with GCP and/or Azure
- Experience in end-to-end automation of CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with ELK/Prometheus or other monitoring tools
