We are currently looking for a Senior SAP Basis Developer to join our remote team.

With 3+ years of relevant work experience, you will take on a leadership role, providing technical expertise in SAP BASIS, managing critical aspects of our systems, and ensuring their optimal performance. As a Senior SAP Basis Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring SAP BASIS, managing change requests and transport, and handling incidents and service requests.

requirements

3+ years of relevant production experience with SAP Basis
Archiving experience, including understanding the configuration of archiving objects, planning and execution of archiving jobs, and solving performance and execution issues
Strong technical skills in SAP BASIS, particularly in NW as ABAP (S4HANA Platform) & NW as JAVA, Webdisp, and Content Servers
Experience in tuning of ABAP & Java parameters
Extensive experience in SAP HANA and SAP ASE administration and maintenance, including administration and tuning of DB parameters, DB updates, and data growth analysis (DVM)
Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager (CHARM, System monitoring, EWA)
Advanced performance analysis skills in ABAP/Java and HANA & ASE DB
B2+ English level, enabling fluent communication with English-speaking stakeholders and the ability to share ideas and provide reasoning
Strong team player with excellent communication skills, fostering easy and respectful communication and sharing responsibilities for the team's overall success

nice to have

Knowledge in GRC, ACP, SLT, BW4HANA, S4HANA, OpenText
Familiarity with third-party backup tools like Commvault
Understanding of Single Sign-On protocols such as Kerberos, X509, SAML, and oAuth (Okta, SLS)
Ability to troubleshoot network and firewall issues
Familiarity with SAP BTP, Data Intelligence, and SAP Analytics Cloud
