Lead Java Developer
We are looking for a highly skilled remote Lead Java Developer to join our team and lead the development of our software solutions, contributing to the enhancement of our product's quality and reliability. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications and Microservices, REST APIs, utilizing your extensive experience in Java and cloud-native Microservices. responsibilities
- Lead the development of software solutions, utilizing your extensive experience in Java and cloud-native Microservices
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze legacy applications, define target state design/architecture, and ensure the highest standards of software quality control and agile project management
- Design and implement cloud-native applications, utilizing your expertise in Amazon Web Services and Splunk
- Monitor the performance of cloud-native applications, utilizing your expertise in Splunk
- Participate in sprint planning and estimation, breaking down user stories into pieces as needed
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing, ensuring the highest standards of software quality control
- Participate in peer-level code reviews, providing constructive feedback and insights to your team
- Proactively identify issues and collaborate with the team to solve them, reflecting your problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Mentor other developers and collaborate with peers, contributing to the enhancement of the team's skills and knowledge
requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar; Master's degree in Computer Science
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Practical experience in Angular, demonstrating your ability to develop and maintain complex web applications
- Experience in working in a SCRUM team
- Expertise in Java and cloud-native Micro-services, demonstrating proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Core, and Spring Security
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Splunk, enabling you to design and implement cloud-native applications and monitor their performance
- Experience in agile methodology and software quality control processes, showcasing your comprehensive skill set
- Ability to analyze legacy applications and define target state design/architecture, reflecting your keen eye for detail and analytical mindset
- Hands-on experience with API testing and automation, highlighting your proficiency in non-functional testing
- DevSecTestOps experience, demonstrating your focus on security and compliance
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
