We are looking for a Chief Automation Tester with experience in JavaScript to join our remote team.
In this role, you will lead the development of test strategies, test plan development, test case development, and test management. Your strong experience in automated testing and the MACH platform will be instrumental in assisting the team in defining innovative automation testing solutions. You will collaborate closely with other testers and developers on the team and have the authority to make independent decisions. Your role will require frequent interaction with multiple subject matter experts and senior technical professionals to identify current use cases and implementations and to design solutions that satisfy both current and future needs in an automated way.
- Develop and implement automated testing strategies and test plans
- Lead the development of automated test cases and test management
- Collaborate with other testers and developers to design and implement automated testing solutions
- Document technical solutions and testing processes clearly and concisely in written documentation
- Participate in and lead regular code reviews, often in a mentorship role with other engineers to maintain high testing standards
- Interface with team members to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in both production and non-production environments
- Ensure that automated testing conforms to industry standards and best practices
- Provide technical leadership, ensuring engineers understand the automated testing strategy and vision
- Collaborate with other teams to drive individual delivery streams and overall program-level automated testing strategy
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Automated Testing in JavaScript
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Proven experience in leading the development of test strategies, test plan development, test cases development, and test management
- Experience in defining/selecting a tech stack for an organization
- Expertise in Contentstack and MACH Platforms
- Strong knowledge of Cypress, REST API, and TypeScript
- Experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud
- Ability to design automated testing frameworks that serve the purpose of implementing automated testing across all facets of the organization, addressing areas such as Authentication/Authorization, Service Discovery, Performance, and more
- Proficiency in carrying out Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and providing technology suggestions with lists of Pros and Cons, followed by reviews before implementation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ level)
- Experience in testing E-Commerce Platforms
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, CI/CD, and ReactJS
