Chief SAP ABAP Developer
We are actively seeking a highly proficient Chief SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team, driving the development of cutting-edge solutions for our esteemed clients. As a key member of the team, your role will entail active participation in pre-sales initiatives and championing innovative solution concepts. Also, you will be responsible for leveraging your profound expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP S/4HANA to guide the creation of unique functionalities, service offerings, and the development of seamlessly integrated end-to-end solutions.
responsibilities
- Cultivating strong partnerships with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and assist in devising effective problem-solving solutions
- Contributing to cost-benefit assessments to ensure technological solutions align with our business strategy
- Leading the development of novel capabilities and service offerings within SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP SaaS, encompassing the design and execution of fully integrated end-to-end solutions
- Taking the lead in addressing technical challenges and applying industry best practices within the application development team
- Engaging in hands-on programming for both front-end and back-end development
- Assessing the impact of alterations and enhancements to applications, while helping to identify integration points and create holistic solution designs
- Providing guidance on SAP CIO Guidelines, Integration Solution Advisory Methodology, Application Extension Methodology, RISE/GROW with SAP, and SAP Data and Analytics Advisory Methodology
- Estimating the workload associated with SAP development, Basis, DevOps activities, and technical architecture components
- Generating comprehensive solution architecture documentation, work/feature breakdown structure documents, and other pertinent technical artifacts
requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a relevant context
- A proven track record, with a minimum of 2 successfully completed projects, including system design and architecture built from the ground up
- In-depth expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP S/4HANA
- Demonstrated experience in spearheading the development of innovative capabilities and service offerings
- Solid familiarity with SAP CIO Guidelines (On-premises / Cloud / Hybrid), Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M), Application Extension Methodology, RISE/GROW with SAP, and SAP Data and Analytics Advisory Methodology
- Competence in estimating workload related to SAP development, Basis, DevOps activities, and technical architecture components
- Experience in creating comprehensive solution architecture documentation, work/feature breakdown structure documents, and other technically detailed artifacts
- Proficiency in the English language at an Upper-Intermediate level
