Chief Site Reliability Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Chief Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote team.
In this position, you will work with Pharmaceutical Labs to understand their requirements for data migration/connectivity and design a solution that meets their needs. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing the data migration process, delivering large and complex end-to-end business application migration to cloud projects. You should be able to design or architect the solution by gathering user requirements and understanding On-premise infra design. As a Chief Site Reliability Engineer, you will be expected to have a strong knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning, Containerization, Kubernetes, and Linux.
responsibilities
- Work with Pharmaceutical Labs to understand their requirements for data migration/connectivity and design a solution that meets their needs
- Design, plan and manage the data migration process, delivering large and complex end-to-end business application migration to cloud projects
- Design or architect the solution by gathering user requirements
- Understand On-premise infra design and ensure solutions align with business objectives
- Coordinate with different teams like the storage team, Networking Team, etc., for seamless project completion
- Engage with your mentor for continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning and data migration, with a focus on Amazon Web Services or Systems Engineering
- Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning, and Linux
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and related management systems such as Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Expertise in designing, planning, and managing the data migration process, delivering large and complex end-to-end business application migration to cloud projects
- Experience in Cloud networking (VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, UDP)
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Terraform, CloudFormation, compute, ECS, ECR, EKS, RDS, server migration service, data migration service
- Deep understanding of Networking Terminology (On-promise/Cloud) and On-Premise to cloud connectivity
- Experience in coordinating with different teams like the storage team, Networking Team, etc.
- Proficiency in designing tools like Draw.io
- Fluency in spoken and written English (B2+)
