Java Solution Architect

We are looking for a remote Solution Architect with expertise in Java to join our team.

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and evaluating architectures, technology options, and integration with existing platforms. You will also be responsible for technical supervision of the team, architecture review, and documentation.

responsibilities

Clarifying and gathering requirements with business representatives
Solution designing, architectural styles and patterns evaluation
Integration with existing EBSCO CI/CD platforms, contribution to architecture decision log if required, and cost modeling
Feature readiness and functional and non-functional requirements tracking in design and solution
Work breakdown structure with high-level estimations, dependencies management, and architecture governance

requirements

Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience with focus on Java
3+ years of relevant leadership experience
Minimum 3 finished projects with system design and architecture from scratch
Extensive experience with Amazon Web services, Java, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes and RDBMS
Excellent communicational and organizational skills
B2+ English level
