Lead Cloud Platform Developer (AWS)

We are seeking a remote Lead Cloud Platform Developer to lead our team in developing, deploying, and maintaining our AWS-based infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated proficiency in Amazon Web Services, especially, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, EMR, and CodeDeploy.

responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration of systems
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement solutions to optimize system performance
  • Develop and maintain system documentation
  • Manage and lead a team of developers
requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in AWS-based infrastructure development and support
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Expertise in AWS IAM, EC2, Lambda, S3, and Dynamo DB
  • Advanced knowledge of CloudFormation, CloudWatch, EMR, and CodeDeploy
  • Strong experience in Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • B2+ English level
nice to have
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, OpsGenie, MongoDB, RDBMs, Kafka, and ELK
  • Good understanding of agile software development methodologies
