Lead Cloud Platform Developer (AWS)
We are seeking an experienced remote Lead Cloud Platform Developer to design, build, and manage our highly scalable, secure, and available infrastructure on Amazon Web Services.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Terraform, as well as experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and CI/CD.
responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate our highly available and scalable infrastructure
- Ensure the security and scalability of the infrastructure platforms
- Respond promptly to security threats and emerging vulnerabilities
- Automate workflows to enable our software engineers to test and promote code
- Reduce bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the ecosystem
- Work with engineering and architecture teams on solution design, capacity planning, and performance
- Promote and document systems infrastructure best practices
- Work alongside software engineering teams from project initiation through deployment and end-of-life
- Provide support during out-of-hours and on-call as required by the business
requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Terraform and Amazon Web Services
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with Helm and CI/CD
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python/Bash/Ruby
- B2+ English level

- Experience with AWS Container Services such as EKS
