Lead Data Modeler for a Business Services Company

We are currently looking for a remote Lead Data Modeler with experience with Qliksense BI tool, with Hadoop Big Data platform, and familiarity with the Pharma domain to join our team.

The customer is a provider of high-quality business services in such areas as IT, Procurement, HR, Product Lifecycle Services, Financial Reporting and Analytics, and Real Estate and Facility Services.

responsibilities
  • Capturing requirements of Business team towards the backend big data platform
    • Data Model design for new Big Data Projects, data requirements capture
      • Represent IT teams in front of China Business representatives, and be able to discuss and negotiate solution approach with multiple vendors IT teams reflecting actual business needs
        • Bring industry best practices to the project team and help to implement them
          • Review current solution design and propose improvements and changes
            • Help to make day to day design decisions
              requirements
              • 5+ years of relevant experience
                • Experience with Qliksense BI tool, with Hadoop Big Data platform
                  • Familiarity with Pharma domain and in general Life Science, Healthcare commercial data
                    • Fluent Chinese (Native or C1+)
                      • English B1 or higher
                        • 1+ year of leadership experience
