Lead DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a remote Lead DevOps Engineer to oversee our engineering team and ensure delivery of high-quality DevOps solutions. Your primary focus will be managing and providing guidance to the engineering team, while also working closely with the project team to deploy and maintain systems using Amazon EC2 and other Amazon Web Services. You will be responsible for implementing and using Apache Kafka, Docker, Linux, and nginx to ensure efficient operations.
Effective communication with clients and stakeholders is also important to the success of this role.
responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and support
- Work closely with the project team to ensure delivery of DevOps solutions
- Utilize Amazon EC2 and other Amazon Web Services to deploy and maintain systems
- Implement and manage Apache Kafka, Docker, Linux, and nginx for efficient operations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth integration of PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation
- Strong expertise in DevOps with a focus on Amazon EC2 and Amazon Web Services
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Docker, Linux, and nginx
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English at a B2+ level

- Proficiency with Java Microservice Infrastructure, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis
