Lead DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, specializing in Microsoft Azure.
As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the DevOps team to manage all aspects of the development operations pipeline, including the automation of infrastructure deployment and the implementation of continuous integration and delivery practices. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned DevOps Engineer with experience in Microsoft Azure and a deep understanding of container orchestration systems like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and deployment automation tools like Helm and Terraform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support our product offerings.
responsibilities
- Lead a team of DevOps Engineers to manage all aspects of the development operations pipeline, including the automation of infrastructure deployment and the implementation of continuous integration and delivery practices
- Design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Microsoft Azure
- Create and maintain deployment automation tools using Helm and Terraform
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team to ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and delivered to high-quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and improve the overall system performance and reliability
- Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements, including the adoption of new technologies and frameworks
- Mentor other DevOps Engineers on the team and contribute to the development of technical skills across the organization
requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on Azure and container orchestration systems
- At least 1 year of experience in leading software development teams, demonstrating excellent leadership skills
- Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), as well as Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and Terraform
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, and Python
- Experience in implementing and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a remote environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English language with at least an Upper-Intermediate level of competency for effective communication with stakeholders

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Experience with additional containerization technologies such as Docker Swarm
