We are in search of a remote Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Release Management team.

This role crucially involves the implementation of DevOps practices and Copado platform utilization in Salesforce projects. The chosen candidate's duties will primarily revolve around coordinating and managing software releases, ensuring seamless deployments, and aiding the comprehensive delivery process.

responsibilities
  • Establishment of efficient release management processes for Salesforce projects through the Copado DevOps platform
  • Coordination and management of software releases for timely, error-free deployments
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams for requirements gathering, release prioritization, and deployment issue resolution
  • Implementation and maintenance of release pipelines encompassing version control, branching, and code merging
  • Progress monitoring of releases and post-release evaluations for identifying improvement areas
  • Contribution to the formation and augmentation of DevOps practices and standards within the organization
  • Provision of support to the Support & Maintenance team for ongoing Salesforce project needs
requirements
  • Work experience of 5+ years with Copado as a DevOps/Release Manager in Salesforce projects
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
  • Profound knowledge and comprehension of DevOps principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency with the Salesforce platform along with its associated tools and technologies
  • Excellent intercommunication and collaboration skills with the capacity to efficiently work within cross-functional teams
  • Experience in the implementation and management of release pipelines, version control, and code merging
  • Knowledge pertaining to release strategies and software release management processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently
  • Fluent English language skills equivalent to B2+ level
