Lead Front-end Developer (Node.js)
We are seeking a talented Lead Node.js Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading e-commerce company that is revolutionizing the way people shop online.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure backend solutions using Node.js and other cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and functionalities, contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

- Work in an agile way as part of one of the squads
- Responsible for coding and testing of functionality using best practices
- Contribute to the whole continuous delivery pipeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and functionalities
- Lead and mentor junior developers, ensuring the team's continued growth and success
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the backend solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously improving the quality of the code and the development process
requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Node.js development, showcasing your expertise in building scalable and high-performance backend solutions
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in TypeScript being a plus
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Hands-on experience with Contentstack, OpenSearch, and other relevant technologies
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and mentoring junior developers
- Experience in working in an agile environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality code through continuous integration and delivery
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience in developing and deploying serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Knowledge of other backend technologies, such as Python or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with front-end development using React or Angular
- Previous experience in e-commerce or retail industry
