Lead Functional Test Engineer for an Insurance Company

We are currently looking for a Senior Functional Testing Engineer with 5+ years of testing experience, understanding of REST APIs and experience with Java, Spring to join our team.

The customer is an American diversified global insurer and the third-largest property and casualty insurer in the United States. It ranks 75th on the Fortune 100 list of largest corporations in the United States based on 2018 revenue.

responsibilities
  • Perform functional and regression testing
    • Report and document technical issues/outputs of testing
      • Report bugs and errors to development teams and advising BAs
        • Provide support with the release process (preparing for/attend CAB)
          • Prepare test scripts/test strategy/test plan
            • Contribute to the support by coordinating user acceptance testing
              • Provide input into automation of E2E testing
                • Triage any production support issues raised by users
                  requirements
                  • 5+ years of experience in testing
                    • Extensive experience in performing functional testing
                      • Hands-on experience with Java
                        • In-depth knowledge of Spring
                          • Synthetic Event Messaging skills
                            • Understanding of REST APIs
                              • English level - B2
                                • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
                                  • Stakeholder management skills
                                    • Excellent communication skills
                                      • Experience working in distributed team environment
