Lead Java Developer
Our company is looking for a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Java development and be comfortable working with Amazon Web Services and SQL. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
responsibilities
- Lead a team of Java developers and oversee the development process
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Ensure that software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality
- Provide technical guidance to team members and mentor junior developers
- Use monitoring tools for application performance and log analysis
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is optimized for performance and scalability
requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java development
- Spring Boot framework experience
- Experience in leading a team of developers and overseeing the development process
- Proficiency in working with Amazon Web Services and SQL, with a solid understanding of database design and architecture
- Experience in working with Jira
- Strong knowledge of software testing techniques and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing
- Experience with Splunk or other monitoring tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
nice to have
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Certification in Java development or related fields
