Lead JavaScript Developer (Node.js)
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Node.js Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for the healthcare industry.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software solutions using Node.js, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of our products. responsibilities
- Design and develop complex software solutions using Node.js and other relevant programming languages and frameworks
- Participate in peer code reviews to ensure coding standards are followed and maintain code quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of our products
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the system can handle enterprise-level usage
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring the growth and development of the team
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, proposing new ideas and technologies to improve our products and processes
requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Node.js development, demonstrating your proficiency in developing scalable and maintainable code
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in JavaScript and its various frameworks, including React, Angular, and Vue.js
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Lambda, to build and deploy serverless applications
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, including agile development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Proven experience in conducting performance and load testing to ensure the system can handle enterprise-level usage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
