Lead JavaScript Developer (Node.js)
We are seeking a highly skilled remote Lead Node.js Developer to join our team, working on cutting-edge solutions via AWS cloud.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing Node.js-based solutions, following industry best practices like Continuous Integration and Observability. You will be required to code your infrastructure and automatically build, test, and deploy your creations. Additionally, you will be asked to provide support by writing documentation and involving in design discussions. responsibilities
- Develop Node.js-based solutions via AWS cloud, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability
- Code infrastructure and automatically build, test, and deploy your creations, following industry best practices like Continuous Integration and Observability
- Provide support by writing documentation and involving in design discussions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless and efficient product development
- Participate in code reviews, offering feedback and insights to improve code quality and maintainability
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for Node.js and AWS development
- Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Node.js and AWS development, sharing your knowledge with the team
requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Node.js development
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), showcasing your ability to design, deploy, and manage applications on AWS
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and maintenance, utilizing tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and its ecosystem, NPM, and popular frameworks such as Express and NestJS
- Experience in developing REST APIs, highlighting your ability to design and implement scalable and secure APIs
- Experience in working in an Agile environment and DevOps model, showcasing your understanding of industry best practices like Continuous Integration and Observability
- Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience in developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Experience in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in developing and deploying microservices architectures
