Lead Microsoft Power BI Administrator
We are seeking a Lead Microsoft Power BI Administrator to join our remote team.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring Power BI environments, managing data governance and security policies, and providing user support and training. As an expert in Power BI architecture and administration, you will monitor and optimize performance, integrate Power BI with other Microsoft and third-party tools, and manage licenses and subscriptions for users and groups. You will be a key contributor to the continuous improvement and innovation of Power BI processes and workflows while ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
responsibilities
- Set up and configure Power BI environments, including workspaces, data sources, gateways, and connections
- Implement and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
- Manage Power BI artifacts, including reports, dashboards, datasets, and dataflows
- Provide user support and troubleshooting assistance for Power BI users, including resolving technical issues and answering questions about Power BI functionality
- Monitor the performance of Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets to identify areas for optimization
- Integrate Power BI with other Microsoft and third-party tools and services, such as SharePoint, Teams, and Azure services
- Manage Power BI licenses and subscriptions for users and groups
requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI Architecture and Platform Administration
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Experience with automation, optimization, and enhancement of Power BI processes and workflows
- Experience with content lifecycle management processes, including versioning, archiving, and deletion of unused or obsolete content
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor and optimize performance and solve technical issues
- Experience with integrating Power BI with other Microsoft and third-party tools and services
- Fluent in English with an advanced level of proficiency for effective communication with team members and stakeholders
