Lead Node.js Developer (AWS)
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Node.js Developer to join our remote team, working with a leading e-commerce company.
In this position, you will be responsible for defining engineering principles and quality standards for our applications, ensuring that they are followed by the team. You will also be responsible for defining the CI/CD process for our applications, collaborating effectively with development and testing leads, and driving engineering process improvements.

- Work with the most complex tasks hands-on, providing guidance and support to the team
- Proactively suggest and drive engineering process improvements, contributing to the enhancement of our software development practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs
- Ensure that applications are built according to best practices and are scalable and maintainable
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Node.js development, demonstrating proficiency in building scalable and high-performance applications
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microservice Architecture Pattern, showcasing your ability to design and build complex systems
- Experience with OMS systems and Search Engines, demonstrating your knowledge of e-commerce systems
- Proficiency in ReactJS, enabling you to develop efficient and user-friendly front-end applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, allowing you to work with the most complex tasks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven experience in defining engineering principles, quality standards, and CI/CD processes
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience in developing and maintaining APIs
- Familiarity with other front-end frameworks, such as Angular or Vue.js
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
