Lead Node.js Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Node.js Developer to join our remote team and work on a cutting-edge project in the healthcare industry. As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers to build scalable and reliable backend systems using Node.js. You will work with a wide range of technologies including Amazon Web Services, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Meteor, NestJS, Koa, and Express. responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable backend systems using Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and serverless architecture
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by implementing best practices and code reviews
- Perform code optimization and performance tuning
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team
- Contribute to the development of project timelines and deliverables
requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Node.js development, demonstrating your expertise in building scalable and reliable backend systems
- Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis
- Experience with Meteor, NestJS, Koa, and Express frameworks
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and serverless architecture
- Experience in designing and developing microservices
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

- Experience with DevOps tools and processes
- Experience with GraphQL and Apollo
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
