Lead Python Developer

We are seeking a remote Lead Python Developer with exceptional skills to join our team remotely. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for the development of commercial applications. You will also be involved in the migration of data to the cloud, ensuring data governance layers and storage in Elasticsearch. If you are a skilled Python Developer with extensive experience in SQL, Spark, Hive, and AWS cloud, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

responsibilities
  • Develop complex data pipelines and ensure their scalability and efficiency
    • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop microservices and implement CI/CD pipelines
      • Contribute to the migration of data to the cloud, ensuring data governance layers and storage in Elasticsearch
        • Create unit test cases and perform code reviews to maintain code quality standards
          • Ensure effective communication and documentation of the development process and progress
            • Receive constructive feedback and use it to improve the quality of deliverables
              • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team
                requirements
                • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Python development
                  • Proficiency in SQL
                    • Experience in test-driven development and writing unit test cases using mock frameworks
                      • Extensive knowledge of Spark and Hive data processing frameworks and data structures & algorithms
                        • Experience with AWS cloud and its components such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and RDS
                          • Exposure to data orchestration tools like Airflow and data modeling
                            • Proven leadership experience and good communication and documentation skills
                              • Good spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
                                nice to have
                                • CI/CD experience
                                  • Knowledge of data modelling
